Praiwan Rafthouse offers a peaceful stay in one of the more remote areas of Cheow Lan Lake, surrounded by forest-covered mountains and quiet waterways.
Spend the afternoon swimming or kayaking directly from the raft house, enjoy the stillness of the lake after the day visitors leave, and wake early for a morning lake safari before continuing your journey through the spectacular limestone landscape.

DAY 1 — CHEOW LAN LAKE & PAKARANG CAVE
10:00–12:00 | MEET AT RATCHAPRAPHA PIER
Meet your guide at Ratchaprapha Pier and prepare for your private journey into Cheow Lan Lake.
PRIVATE LONGTAIL BOAT JOURNEY
Cruise across the lake through dramatic limestone mountains, rainforest-covered shorelines and emerald-green water.
KHAO SAM KLOE
Stop at the iconic Three Brothers limestone formations, one of the most recognizable landmarks on Cheow Lan Lake, with time for sightseeing and photographs.
ARRIVE AT THE LAGUNA CHIEWLARN
Continue to the floating resort, check in to your room and enjoy lunch overlooking the lake.
PAKARANG CAVE EXPERIENCE
Travel by longtail boat to the Pakarang Cave area and continue through the rainforest before crossing the inner lake by bamboo raft.
Explore the cave with its distinctive limestone formations before retracing the journey back toward the main lake.
RETURN TO THE RESORT
Return to The Laguna Chiewlarn with time to swim, kayak or simply relax by the water.
EVENING WILDLIFE SAFARI
Head out again in the cooler late afternoon to explore quiet rainforest shorelines while looking and listening for monkeys, hornbills and other wildlife.

Return to the resort for dinner and your first night on Cheow Lan Lake.
DAY 2 — BANG HOI WATERFALL & RAINFOREST

Start the day on the water, cruising through the morning mist while your guide searches the forest edge for monkeys, hornbills and other wildlife.
Breakfast at Praiwan
Bang Hoi Waterfall Adventure
After breakfast, travel by private longtail boat deeper into Cheow Lan Lake toward Bang Hoi Waterfall.
Leave the boat and continue on foot through tropical rainforest with your local guide. The journey itself is part of the experience, taking you away from the busier sections of the lake and into a more natural forest environment.
Reach Bang Hoi Waterfall and spend time exploring the area before returning through the rainforest to your boat.
Lunch & Lake Exploration
Enjoy lunch and continue exploring the surrounding waterways and limestone landscape before returning to Praiwan.
Afternoon | Relax at the Raft House
Swim, kayak or simply relax beside the lake.
Evening Wildlife Exploration
Depending on conditions, head onto the lake again to explore the quieter shoreline around sunset.
Dinner & Second Night at Praiwan
Waterfall conditions vary according to rainfall and season. The route may be adjusted according to weather, water levels, trail conditions and National Park guidance.
