DAY 1 - Into the Wild Waters of Cheow Lan Lake

Begin your expedition at Cheow Lan Lake, where you’ll meet your local wildlife guide before boarding a private longtail boat and travelling into the quieter, more remote areas of the lake.
The afternoon is dedicated to wildlife exploration around Khlong Ya and Khlong Mon, two forested waterways surrounded by dense rainforest and limestone mountains. Rather than following the usual sightseeing route, your guide will explore slowly along remote shorelines, watching for movement and listening for the sounds of wildlife hidden within the forest.
Look for gibbons, hornbills, dusky leaf monkeys, macaques, gaurs, and other rainforest wildlife. Wild elephants may occasionally appear near remote shorelines, although all wildlife encounters depend entirely on natural movements and can never be guaranteed.

As the afternoon light begins to fade, wildlife activity often increases. The boat will continue quietly through promising areas while your guide looks for fresh signs, feeding activity, movement in the canopy, and animals approaching the water’s edge.
End the day surrounded by the stillness of Cheow Lan Lake before continuing to your floating accommodation for the night.
DAY 2 - Deep into Khlong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary

Wake early and begin the day with a wildlife cruise as the rainforest comes alive. Morning is one of the best times to listen for gibbons, watch hornbills crossing above the canopy, and search the forested shoreline for signs of larger mammals.
After breakfast, travel deeper across Cheow Lan Lake toward Khlong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary, a remote protected landscape of rainforest, mountains, hidden waterways, and quiet forest edges.
Unlike a conventional sightseeing tour, today is dedicated to wildlife exploration. Your guide will adjust the route according to recent wildlife activity, water levels, weather conditions, feeding signs, and information from the field.
Explore slowly through the Khlong Saeng area, scanning remote shorelines and forest clearings for gaurs, wild elephants, gibbons, hornbills, dusky leaf monkeys, macaques, and other wildlife. Some species may only reveal themselves through distant calls, footprints, feeding signs, or movement deep within the forest.
Take time for lunch and rest before continuing the search during the afternoon, when changing light and temperatures may bring renewed wildlife activity.
As evening approaches, make a final slow exploration of promising areas before returning across the lake to your floating accommodation.

Wake before sunrise for one final wildlife exploration on Cheow Lan Lake. In the cool morning air, the rainforest gradually comes alive with the calls of gibbons, hornbills moving across the canopy, and monkeys beginning their day along the forested shoreline.
Your guide will revisit promising wildlife areas based on activity observed during the previous days. Rather than following a fixed route, the morning remains flexible—allowing time to follow distant calls, investigate fresh signs, or simply wait quietly where wildlife is known to move.

On the return journey, cruise through some of the lake’s most spectacular limestone scenery and stop at the iconic Three Brothers (Khao Sam Kloe)—three towering limestone formations rising dramatically from the emerald water.
It is a final opportunity to appreciate Cheow Lan Lake not only as a wildlife habitat, but as one of Southern Thailand’s most extraordinary natural landscapes.
